Popmoney® (Pay Other People) is a personal payment service that allows you to send electronic payments to friends and family without the hassle of checks or cash.

Popmoney is made available to all Home Federal Bill Pay customers! Receiving funds is free. Initiating funds is available at a discounted, per transaction fee of 50¢3 -- less than the cost of a stamp and envelope!

Need to send a loved one a birthday, anniversary or graduation gift? Home Federal extends the option of adding an e-greeting card at no additional cost with any Popmoney transaction.

How Does Popmoney Work?

Popmoney can be used for:

  • Sending money.
  • Picking up money.
  • Requesting money. Currently available in Online Banking only.

All you need is an email address or mobile phone number to send payments or request payments. The recipient will be notified by email or text and will quickly and securely be able to apply those funds to or from their checking, savings or money market account.1, 2

To get started, log into Home Federal's Personal Online Banking or Mobile Banking. Under the Payments tab, you will see Popmoney.

If you would like to add Bill Pay and Popmoney to your online or mobile banking access, click the Payments tab within online banking and follow the prompts or call us at 1-800-244-2149.
